Sighthound Collar

An elegant traditionally shaped collar especially for sight hounds or those with slender necks. 

Handcrafted from 3.5 - 4.5mm English bridle leather and finished with solid British cast brass or nickel plate fittings. 

Our sight hound collars are available in a choice of colours and come in two widths.

The 1 3/4" wide collar tapers down to 3/4" at the buckle area and the 2" collar tapers to 1" at the buckle.

As standard our collars are completely made by hand from the initial cutting out to the final polish. All items we produce are also hand stitched, with collars the thread we use is braided polyester as we have found this tends to last much longer than linen threads which will rot due to salt water and the amount of wear a collar receives.

We are collecting breed/type sizes to determine the avarage size of various breeds. If you could be so kind as to fill this box in it would be most appreciated.

If a size you require isn't listed please get in touch as we can make outsized collars to order.

Please do note that the red leather will turn brown eventually and all the colours do darken with age. This is due to dirt and grease getting into the leather. How long this process takes completely depends on how much wear and tear the collar receives. While we take every precaution to ensure colour fastness we cannot guarantee some colour transfer may occur.
