Training Leads

A long adjustable lead made to the same design as the police use. The lead is made from two strips of 3.5mm - 4mm English leather and adjusts from approximately 3ft 8" (112cm) to 5ft 8" (170cm). The total length of lead clip to clip is approximately 6ft 8" (206cm)

Crafted from 3 - 4.5mm English bridle leather and fitted with British cast, solid brass or nickel plate trigger clips and D rings.

As standard our leads are completely made by hand from the initial cutting out to the final polish. All items we produce are also hand stitched, with our leads the thread we use is braided polyester as we have found this tends to last much longer than linen threads which will rot due to salt water We are based near the coast) and the amount of wear a lead can receive.

Please do note that the red leather will turn brown eventually and all the colours do darken with age. This is due to dirt and grease getting into the leather. How long this process takes completely depends on how much wear and tear the collar receives. While we take every precaution to ensure colour fastness we cannot guarantee some colour transfer may occur.
