Handleless Dog Lead

I've been asked many times now to make a lead with no hand loop as many people don't use the loop and find it gets in the way. Do you use the handle on your lead or just wrap it round you hand?

Crafted from 3.5 - 4.5mm English bridle leather and fitted with a British cast, trigger clip and a ring at the end (optional) The metal fittings can be in either solid brass or nickel plate.

Available in two lengths - Standard 4ft (122cm) or Long 4ft 6" (137cm) and three widths. The lead length excludes the clip/ring.

As standard our leads are completely made by hand from the initial cutting out to the final polish. All items we produce are also hand stitched, with leads the thread we choose to use is braided polyester as we have found this tends to last much longer than linen threads which will rot due to salt water (we are based near the coast) and the amount of wear the lead receives.

Please do note that the red leather will turn brown eventually and all the colours do darken with age. This is due to dirt and grease getting into the leather. How long this process takes completely depends on how much wear and tear the lead receives. While we take every precaution to ensure colour fastness we cannot guarantee some colour transfer may occur.
